Community Help Points
What are community help points?
Community help points are drop-in advice centres, conveniently located in local shopping areas and public buildings.
They are open during normal office hours and provide advice on a range of topics such as benefits, housing, council tax, parking permits and community safety.
Their friendly staff work with public and voluntary sector organisations including the County Council, district and borough councils, health services, the police and fire brigade. Each community help point provides free access to Internet sites of partnership organisations.
