Coaching is a great way to stay active and take part in a sport you enjoy while helping others. Local sports clubs are often looking for coaches and other volunteers to help out.

Advice on how to get into coaching and on courses run by national governing bodies. Register to become a Sussex County Sports Partnership coach and get access to free training and support.
Sussex County Sports Partnership can also help local sports clubs that are looking for suitable volunteers.
Sports Coach UK
The UK’s national coaching federation. You can find information on coaching workshops and other resources to help you develop your coaching skills.
Sport England
The national organisation that helps people get into sport and distributes government and lottery funding for sport. The site also has a sports job vacancy list.
If you are interested in coaching a specific sport you can also contact the national governing body for that sport, through the listings on the Sport England site.
