East Sussex is on the south east coast of England. It borders the counties of Kent, West Sussex and Surrey. Other counties in the south-east of England include Hampshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Bedfordshire. Across the Solent from Hampshire is the Isle of Wight.
