Developing services for older people
East Sussex has a significantly higher proportion of older people than other counties. Currently 27% of residents are of pensionable age, and estimates show that this could rise to 40% in 2027. So it makes sense to work with people from the age of 50 onwards to understand the changing needs of the local population properly.
