If you run a business in East Sussex, you can now get even more support to reduce its environmental impact and increase profits.
Together with other local authorities in East Sussex and partners in northern France, we have got over £160,000 from the European Union to help businesses cut their energy, water and waste bills.
Business Excellence Through Resource Efficiency (BETRE)
The East Sussex Business Excellence Through Resource Efficiency (BETRE) programme gives free practical advice and help to local businesses, including:
- seminars and training
- environmental audits, backed up by technical support
- technical advice
- newsletters.

You can make average savings of £2,000 for your business and also get paid up to £1,000 towards the cost of putting resource-saving measures in place.
